9rules Round 5: Halfway Point Stats

We announced Round 5 about a month ago, and today is the day to submit your blog if you’d like to join the prestigious 9rules community of blogs. Submit your blog here »
My favorite part about our submission rounds are the metrics we can pull:
- For the first 12 hours of this round, we’ve averaged more than 1 new submission every minute (!!) bringing the current total as of 12:31pm eastern time to 908.
- We reached 100 submissions in 12 minutes vs. it taking about 2 hours in Round 4
- We reached 500 submissions twice as fast as in Round 4
- Our entry announcing Round 5 now has 98 total comments and trackbacks.
- Our last 5 entries at the 9rules Blog are averaging over 20 comments per entry.
What I love about this round is the variety of blogs being submitted… blogs on every topic we currently cover and a lot more, Blogger blogs, Squidoo blogs, Wordpress blogs, Typepad blogs, it’s a gigantic cross section of the blog world. Wow Mike! Congrats on huge success this round has already been. I can’t wait to see what the final number is. I guessed 2222 and at this pace, I might be close! Good luck to all who submitted.

A-frigg’n-mazing. I’m one of these 5th Rounders and I guess I was hoping for a bit less competition. *sigh* C’est la vie. At least you guys will have a good number to choose from, which I can’t help but think that its a good thing, I guess.

Hey Mike, thanks for the update.
I was listening to ScrivsTyme103 and about 30:25 into it Paul makes reference to me about being the first submission. I was actually first to comment but from the podcast it seems like my site might be submission 20 something.
You guys are funny in your podcasts. Sounds like it’s a party every time. It sounds like you use Skype for your 3-way calls.
I’m like you, I enjoy the metrics you can pull from site stats and it’s cool of you to share what’s shaking with the submissions over at 9rules.
Keep up the good work. It will be nice to see if my site makes it into the prestigious 9rules community of blogs.
