The Auto Blog is down as well - and a few more of their network sites that I noticed, and Scott did too. This will surely effect revenue for him.

I feel sorry for everyone in the WIN network since there are morons out there with nothing to do on a Saturday except play the role of script kiddy.

But I feel even more sorry when Jason and his (soon to be assembled) team of lawyers lower the BOOM on this guys head. Watch our Fuxz, this thing is going to cost you more than it cost WIN.

Assuming of course that they can track this person down and that s/he lives in a country where they can either extradite or prosecute, otherwise the person is pretty safe.

Jason Says:

We got the site back online quickly, but we did lose revenue. It’s not really funny to do this kind of thing as people who are working for us need to get paid to pay their bills etc.

We’re not some big company that isn’t impacted by this kind of thing… people pay their bills by blogging now. Whoever did this should think about that.

Colin D. Devroe Says:

Jason: I’m no ultimate hacker or anything. But if you assemble a task force to go after these guys, consider me in. I’ll bring my baseball bat and a molintoff cocktail.
