In a way I feel bad that new companies in the web app arena have to compete at such a high level, but then again, pushing the boundaries of the web medium in turn pushes the boundaries of our industry as a whole. Web user interfaces are now so incredibly advanced that people expect them to be as interactive and intuitive as possible, and I think if your startup doesn’t start off with the idea that a killer interaction design experience is necessary, it’s almost doomed to fail from the start.
In the past few days I’ve seen some demos of some really hot web applications, and I thought putting them all together would be fun to see.
Scrybe should be out in beta pretty soon:
I don’t think that interaction design has ever been a larger part of the web industry than right now, which is damn exciting because it means people are finally starting to notice that it matters :)
